We want to sincerely thank everyone who has supported and encouraged us the last few (9+) years. We greatly appreciate you.
Unfortunately, we have decided to close the shop. I am dealing with a parent in Hospice care and my attention needs to be elsewhere...
I don't use crush washers for brakes. Crush washers are for flash hiders. Shims are for brakes if you aren't capable of timing it by adjusting the length with a lathe.
The hole for the gas tube is in the same position above the center of the bore on all gas blocks. The low profile description fits when compared to a FSB. Have you tried what you have inside your new handguard?
Gonna be kinda tough to service the bolt with the handle welded in! I'd get a new bolt installed. Might even try to get Tikka to do it under warranty. It looks like the bolt is cast. Maybe there was a nasty spot in the casting. I wonder what the OP did to the rifle to cause that.

The ramp on his original barrel looks way too deep to me. If I did anything at all I would maybe just break the edge on the new barrel and only if it was sharp. I wonder if he has tried other magazines?
