    Thanks for the information, I really appreciate it. Good photos and any commentary have been almost impossible to find so you've really helped me out. Being that I already have the NF P-VPS I think I'll have to go MRAD and get it cerakoted rather than grab one of the deployment kits.

    Hey guys, hoping for someone that can chime in. Wanting to build a Mk22 clone but don’t need the full kit as they’re sold. What differences separate the true mk22 from the mrad? I am aware of the cerakoted barrel and UID but are there any other small details in the markings or elsewhere? Thanks

    Most accurate mk12 barrel?

    It's close but the finish isn't clone correct. For a proper barrel the only source I am aware of is High Caliber Sales. They go the extra mile to get the finish to match the original MK12s.

    I had two Leupold MK8 1.1-8's the other day and the difference in glass quality was astounding. It makes me take any single-example comparison with a grain of salt. It would be interesting to have someone like glassaholic or Ilya review two of the same model against each other.

    Could be a million things, try a different ammo. No reason to suspect the rifle has an issue if it's an isolated incident.
