Tens of thousands is probably a bit high but even if there are, how many can actually take on a low volume part and produce to spec? For many they can’t even be bothered, some say they will look at it and never give a quote, some will but the price is high, and others will give a decent price...

Fair enough. I would have used part to specs but yeah. But I still stand by my statement it’s far easier to manage the process doing it in house.

First I didn’t say anything about printing. When someone was surprised he machines the parts himself instead of shopping it out, I said it’s best way for Paul to maintain the quality and tolerances required. Now maybe I need to go in depth more as to why, but I think most here get it.

While you can outsource parts and get quality you’re also paying a lot for that. Making parts in house gives you more control over the quality and higher profit margins.so yes my statement was true and accurate.

He just purchased a new machine that should be cranking out parts next week. He has had two other machines but one had a spindle go out recently and why he purchased a new one. But don’t you worry the other machine is back up and running.

It’s the best way to maintain quality and hold the tolerances he requires. Anything requiring turning is outsourced but hopefully after the first batch goes out he can start looking to bring that in house as well.

If no other issues arise I’d say there is a good chance.

It’ll make it. Hopefully by this time next week there will be 3 cnc machines cranking out the aluminum parts. Getting the 3 cnc machines going has not been without its challenges even the new one Paul purchased because his other machines were giving him fits. I believe most of the printed parts...

Well I have not had time for any updates because I have been out at the IPRF World Championship helping out. There should be an update next week on where production of units stands and why the delay.

Coup De Grâce, New Action from American Rifle Company, $899 WOW!

I’m using a BNA TacSport Pro X 2 stage trigger on my CDG long action with pivoting bolt handle. Took a bit more adjusting than an action without an adjustable trigger hanger but once dialed in I have had no issues with it. Mostly use this setup for hunting and trigger pull is just under 1lb.

    7prc AICS mag?

Mags functioned fine for me. No nose dive issues but I did have to adjust mag height to get smooth feeding. The MDT 3 round poly mags also appear to work.

    7prc AICS mag?

I use the Accurate Mag CIP length 300 Rum mags with my 7 PRC in a XLR Element 4.0 chassis without any issues. I am also using the ARC CDG long action. I have used this setup hunting without issues.

TBAC new Magnus and 338 Ultra Gen2 release dates?

Finally got to use the new cans at a club match today. I ran the Magnus S RR on my 25 Creedmoor and my wife used the Magnus K RR on her 6 Dasher. I used the 338 Ultra previously on my 25 Creedmoor and the Ultra 7 on the Dasher. Recoil impulse noticeably shorter with the Magnus S RR on my 25...
