Coup De Grâce, New Action from American Rifle Company, $899 WOW!

I’ve got about 60-65 through it or so… love cycling it. Feeds like butter and fast cycling. Did a round of Thorro clean after about 50 rounds, then loaded 10 foulers. These were the last 4 of the foulers shot at 100. Just picked an arbitrary load of 41.0 gr H4350, 140 eldm, at .025” off lands...

Coup De Grâce, New Action from American Rifle Company, $899 WOW!

I’m curious on feeding from 223 MDT mags also, because I just ordered another coup in .378 BF for a 20 Tactical

Coup De Grâce, New Action from American Rifle Company, $899 WOW!

Soon soon. I was just doing some break in for now. I did shoot some low charge loads with 140 ELDM, 40.0 grains of H4350. Fed like butter from AW mag out of the Xylo. Put 5 of 6 into a maybe 3-4” group at 800 on steel. The other one went about 3” lower. Again that was an arbitrary load with no...

Coup De Grâce, New Action from American Rifle Company, $899 WOW!

I hated my Coup so much after 1 time out to the range, I ordered another yesterday. Luckily I don’t mind getting absolutely raked over the coals on action pricing. Especially with an action that really doesn’t do anything new or innovative compared to other R700, 90 degree, two lug actions...

WTB Starline SRP 6.5 Creedmoor Brass

Anyone have some starline SRP brass they would part with for 6.5 creed? Once fired fine also.

Coup De Grâce, New Action from American Rifle Company, $899 WOW!

In regards to the conical breech and AW mags…. Took mine out Sunday and it feeds like butter from AW. Might do the trick mentioned above here and chamfer the back of the follower because the follower stopping the bolt has me all thrown off… too used to AICS I guess

I really should’ve had mine marked that way also!

Coup De Grâce, New Action from American Rifle Company, $899 WOW!

Wouldn't be hard for them to send out a modified hanger for bix n andy triggers… it is unfortunate it’s not 100% plug n play as is, but I’m overall still jacked about the action. When I had an older bighorn, they sent out a modified cocking piece to eliminate cock on close with a triggertech. As...

Coup De Grâce, New Action from American Rifle Company, $899 WOW!

No doubt, I did think of that, and I very well could go back to the bix but I’ll play with the diamond in it for now. I shouldn’t say it didn’t work, even slightly contacting the action with the safety, it did cock and function fine. Overall it’s a badass action, zero REGERTS

Coup De Grâce, New Action from American Rifle Company, $899 WOW!

Here she is in the flesh. First impressions are - bolt cycles very smooth, nice lift also. Lift smoothness isn’t the smoothest I’ve felt, but the lift weight is very light for a 3 lug. Lift may smooth out over time. For the Bix n Andy guys - the tacsport didn’t work. The safety thumb button...

Coup De Grâce, New Action from American Rifle Company, $899 WOW!

I had a few light strikes with the 16 lb spring but it was on brass that had some loose primer pockets. Changed to 19 and never had any more issues, and it fired the rounds that previously weren’t ignited so stayed with it.
