New Contest Starting Now! This Target Haunts Me
Tell us about the one that got away, the flier that ruined your group, the zero that drifted, the shot you still see when you close your eyes. Winner will receive a free scope!
They only make a short action so far. That doesn't work for my barrel which needs a long action.
Very interesting though.
Anyone have experience with the short action?
Saw that. That's one of the reasons I want one. I have a barrel in the parts bin which fits the Defiance action. I hope it can be used with this action.

This is from Dalton, the new owner of Wyatt Precision:
You won't be able to run a staggered feed internal magazine box. Those actions are designed to feed from a detachable system, so they don't have feed rails machined in them. If you want an internal box, you will have to use...
Point muzzle in a safe direction (up and forward).
Hold bolt handle firmly in unlocked position.
Slam butt plate on concrete bench pulling down on bolt handle.
That usually pops a stuck case free.
No hammer required.
Good luck.
The big one would be the bullet jammed into the lands. This can be dangerous.
The other two I can think of immediately are case capacity and COAL. Measure both and compare them to the Nosler data. Less case capacity and bullet taking up case capacity can lead to higher pressure and velocity...
Sounds like overpressure to me.
OP says sized round chambers fine. He then has to hammer on the bolt handle to get it to extract.
Back the powder charge down and how does it do?
Back to our regularly scheduled program.
I need some education about the CDG and bottom metal.
My understanding is as follows:
AICS magazines should be fine and they fit standard DBM bottom metal.
AW magazines should be fine for bottom metal with a long latch.
Hawkins Hunter DBM will not...
