It’s always hard to say, Even when trying to find a good brake. Am I loading into the rifle more those particular shots to help with the recoil, did I get more settled into my bag, etc? I actually experimented today with the ports. I had closed the 4 bottom ports up, shot 5 rounds off and then opened them all up shot another 5 shots. I think I like the 4 bottom ports closed for barricade stuff. Will have to shoot a match with it and find out. I shoot 6 creed- southerngolfer

I am experimenting with this today today. KGM says close bottom ports to help with muzzle flip. there are 10 ports and I have the bottom 4 closed. I guess issue I might have is kicking up dust when prone. do you notice this? or have you tried shooting with any of the ports closed?- southerngolfer

just per weight based, you might look into using your own shipping padded envelope from any big box store. I know It might save you a few bucks per items but every little bit helps.
