    I've had good luck with simmons land sharks and vpa 3 blades. My buddy said the vpa 2 blades work really well on larger pigs. I'm shooting a Big Jim thunder child reflex/deflex longbow and he's shooting a timber ghost static tip recurve.

    MPA Chassis question

    I got one for my 338 stiller action. folder would not get solid. talked with MPA and they swapped out for the fixed stock, much better now. Not sure how the folder would hold up on a short action as I've never used one or have any friends with one

    I haven't had one collapse on me. I set my height and leave them alone though. someone with more experience may have more to say. hope that helps I think you need to let us know what your intended use is as that will let people know how much trekking pole you need is.

    I bought aluminum as I'm only hiking in about 3-4 miles. weight isn't that big of a concern for me. Carbon is nice if you want to save the weight. I'd check out steep and cheap for the cheaper prices if your into that.

    I use some black diamond adjustable trekking poles I got off of steepandcheap.com at a large discount. They work great for the hunting trips I do.

    my ax308 with a sphur mount, nf atacr 5-25, and ultra 7 thunderbeast, is right at 19.5 lbs with harris and ftw sling. ran it in a multiple matches to include the NF precision match out at the whittington center back in may. worked well for me, no issues with weight
