    That’s was my thought...maybe some of the barrels that are coming loose were done by a gunsmith that got them “close enough.” That’s the first thing that came to mind on why some shooters are having issues with a barrel coming loose.

    Looks good. I did something similar with kydex scrap laying around and a nite ize. You can always make a couple more if something goes pear shaped into your match.

    That's interesting. I've never had an issue with my AX getting loose. I've fired over 3000 rounds through it.
