    Duplicating AI Trigger Feel?

I have been told (*I have no experience with an AI myself) that the XTSP Mod.22 is very close. I have one on my rifle and it is a good trigger

    Any love for x-caliber barrels?

Bought a blank, had it turned by Southern Precision Rifles. It shoots really well. Might carbon foul a little faster than others I've seen, but it shoots great. Not much more to it than that

Hunting & Fishing Lets see your Turkey Gun Pattern

My dad and I actually used to when I was little and had a harder time sitting still. It's definitely different, and we would only do it if they were in the area of the stand. It's hard enough to call them in across the field, let alone over a ridge or two. I think that's the major thing: it...

    Superperformance with 185s

Hodgdon Reloading's website lists: 30-06, 180gr bullet - Start load 54gr, MAX load 59.7gr Nothing listed for 300 Win Mag, but in my opinion you could pretty safely start with the starting load for the 208gr bullet. It would run into pressure before the lighter round.

    ARC M10 Scope Rings

ARC has a penny stacking method on their website to determine the height of ring needed.

    Remington is back?

They at least got the 870. The article mentions that's the first production they're going to get running

    Best "combat" boots?

So you did! Missed that one when I read through

    Best "combat" boots?

I'm kinda surprised that no one has mentioned Lowa Zephyrs yet. I'm on my fourth year with my first pair and they've been good, solid boots. Personally, I have the high (8"), GTX (waterproof) model, but they offer them in 6" and 8" and GoreTex and non to fit whatever your preference is. I wear...

    Nucleus Light Primer Strikes

Also make sure your primers are seated all the way to the bottom of the cup. If there's any space for them to move in the case when the striker impacts it, it can contribute to light strikes.

    Site Changes Coming Monday!

I think he means that currently when you scroll down the page it disappears and you have to scroll back up to the top to get it again. I've been noticing it lately and think that would be a good addition to have it always at the top of the window, regardless if you've scrolled or not.

    2020 Road Bike Thread

Strava is the main spot for roadies that I've seen. It used to be a little more full featured in its free version, but still keeps the same basic functionality if you don't want to continue to pay for it. It's a relatively good platform that I have been happy with

Gunsmithing When should the bolt start cocking the FP?

If you're gonna have anyone do it, Chad is the guy for it...

Gunsmithing When should the bolt start cocking the FP?

Technically, yes, because your cam surface could be longer and therefore less steep. Realistically, taking out the "wiggle" in the bolt probably won't make it feel any lighter to a human hand. The difference would be slight

    2020 Road Bike Thread

Got really lucky that our local race sponsor wanted to get back to racing as much as we did. They were able to get the health department to okay racing this past weekend. Raced the Cat 4/5 crit (first decently sized race) and came up with sixth place from going for the sprint too early. Very...

Got the urge to shoot a .50 BMG in your living room?

The wife was definitely not informed of this plan :ROFLMAO:

    2020 Road Bike Thread

Yeah...you're not wrong. My grandfather was killed by a car on his bike, believe me I'm painfully aware of what happens if someone does something stupid. Everyone on the road has had a close call, and if they haven't they're lucky and the incredibly small minority. That's also why I don't blow...

    2020 Road Bike Thread

Anyone have recommendations for routes around Logan, Utah? Gonna be out there in a couple weeks and I'm packing the bike along. Want to know if there's any rides or climbs that I should keep in my back pocket, that is after I stop sucking wind from the elevation!

    Manners PRS TCS

What does the TCS cost? I couldn't find any information on Manner's site when I looked. These really look badass and have some great features!

Does any Ballistic Calulator Do This?

JBM Ballistics does it. Use the "Trajectory μCard - Constant Drop" It'll output the ranges that line up with whatever scope adjustment you have. Play around with it, it's online and free. https://www.jbmballistics.com/cgi-bin/jbmucardd-5.1.cgi
