Suppressors QuietBore 22LR Titanium Suppressor Build Review -***Approved Form 1 Required***

I just found this company today after getting interested in a Form 1 .22 can. Glad to see good reviews on it! Seems that I have a few hundred bucks to scrounge up somewhere, lol

Rifle Scopes Zero Compromise Optic update

Yeah, explanation is up there. Credit where credit is due: I got the idea from BigJimFish. He did it on a Grayboe stock in a review he posted on here and I liked the idea a lot, so I contacted him and he kinda led me through his process. I was like $20 all in on that and it improved the feel of...

Rifle Scopes Zero Compromise Optic update

I hadn't seen any on a ZCO yet, they look good! I liked them on my Steiner and it seems like they mount up the same way. Nice and clean

You have the Tenebraex flip covers on those, Covert?

Rifle Scopes Zero Compromise Optic update

So, the base stock is a B&C M40. I drilled some (3) holes in the grip and epoxied in some threaded inserts. I then made the grip out of "oven-bake clay" and formed it how I liked it. Cook it according to directions and it's kinda like a polymer when it comes out. Bolt it on and rock and roll...

    T1x upgrade options

Will T3x triggers also work with the T1x? Cause a Tikka .22 with a KRG Bravo and a KRG Midas trigger looks mighty attractive to me...

Rifle Scopes Zero Compromise Optic update

I've got 22.8 mils. I'll never use it all, but it's fun to have :ROFLMAO:

Rifle Scopes Zero Compromise Optic update

I just used isopropyl alcohol. It worked well. It was probably operator error. I took it apart and tried again and I haven't had a problem since. And Spuhr recommends the rosin

Rifle Scopes Zero Compromise Optic update

I would use it. Degrease thoroughly at the very least. The ZCO is a heavy scope and I had mine slip in a Spuhr the first time I mounted it.

    Advanced Marksmanship Bullet Selection

First question a lot of people like to ask: what's your application? Hunting or no? Personally, I don't ask this at all for deer-sized game and smaller because I think shot placement will put an animal down with just about any bullet, but that's another conversation. Second question: what...

    Rifle Scopes Critique my mount

If you can get your face on the gun and have a full sight picture consistently, there isn't really a reason to worry about how high over bore your scope is. I personally would flip the lower rings around and put the bolt on the other side, just because there isn't so much hand movement over...

Barrel harmonic predictor based off of barrel blueprint

I would assume it's all accounted for in the static. Barrel whip, at least with target barrels, would be measured in thousands of an inch, not enough for most people to notice the difference of. https://www.shootingsoftware.com/barrel.htm <- This link I found today talks about barrel whip and...

Barrel harmonic predictor based off of barrel blueprint

Fxdrider has the good link right there ^ That is where you want to start, but I'll see if I can find some more resources for OBT. I remember seeing some good ones over the years

Barrel harmonic predictor based off of barrel blueprint

Well, there's a theory about Optimal Barrel Time (OBT) that makes an attempt at what you're asking. No matter the contour, the harmonic resonance will travel the length of the barrel at the same speed per material. This allows you to predict where the harmonic resonance will be at a specific...

Rifle Scopes Zero Compromise Optic update

The name escapes me, but someone decided to do a durability test on the ZCO. They called them up, asked if they would fix it if he broke it and they agreed. He then proceeded to drop an 18 pound rifle onto the scope to try and induce zero shift/tracking error. He did this about a dozen times...

Rifle Scopes Zero Compromise Optic update

They're getting paid to shill this scope?? ZCO, send some o' that my way! Gotta pay for college :ROFLMAO: Seriously though, ZCO doesn't need to pay anyone to speak good about this optic. It speaks for itself. I'd be surprised to find anyone that has a major complaint about one.

Rifle Scopes Zero Compromise Optic update

Got an ARD back in stock yet for a 527? I have a feeling I'm gonna get rained on at a match this summer....

    Bullet seating question

As you get better at reloading, you'll become more consistent, as will your equipment. I used to measure every other case/seated bullet, then I checked every fifth. Now I check the first three. If they're good to go I load until the middle of my batch and check those three. If they're good, I...

    25 Creedmoor

Greg did a great job on my 25x47. That's right about .250" for three shots. Two in the same hole.
