    FYI, I called Eric last Thursday and talked with him about some details on the barrel I was getting ready to order. So he is around, remember he doesn’t work Wednesday or the weekend. Good luck, as already mentioned there are a number of good smith’s that can spin up a barrel for you.

    As BigWatchPilot stated and imo the easiest method is to put the offset in your ballistic app. I also record mine in my log book. I'm shooting three different DTA barrels and 0.5 mils is the largest offset. Another reason I like to use the app is I have multiple powder/load/bullet combinations...

    I also shoot a 300WM but the barrel is about at the end of it's service life. For me I tried H1000 which shot great with 190gn bullets but Retumbo and 210VLD's are what gives me excellent accuracy and speed. Give Retumbo a try if you run across some. I've also been playing with RL26 and 210...

    Thanks all for the replies. That would be awesome, i also run a Ultra 7. I happen to have a 22.5" 6.5 creed barrel, so now i think i might try a heavier bullet and RL 26, typically shoot 140 VLD's with H4350 or RL16. Anyway i look forward to everyones results with the short barrels.

    I paid the price for the RL26, Bruno’s. I enjoy tinkering with different powders and so impressed with RL16 I had to try the 26, guess it’s just a matter of time and it will be 33.
