    Chargemaster 1500 Quirks

ditto what has been said, both the reducing insert and ferrite choke are the way to go. I'm a straw man convert. Something no one has mentioned you might need to be aware of if you use the reducing insert when you finish up a loading session and are removing all the unused powder out of the...

    MagnetoSpeed Upgrade Program

I'm with you, run my sporter with the rubber block removed on an Ultra 7. I've got the MFR app and the gizmo you plug into your iPhone and the data recorder, email The results to myself and keep it all on a spreadsheet.

A year and a half , 1,600 +/- a few rounds later I haven't had an issue other than to remember to remove the muzzle part of the sling when I remove the barrel. Using DTA rail hasn't been an issue otherwise.

Ditto, have a custom RBros 6.5 rifle, 26" barrel and 43.8gn of 4350 shooting 130 vld's is my go to round with velocity of about 2940fps. Brass life is good so far at 4 times fired. I'm hoping to mimic that round with the new ES barrel for the DTA but expecting a velocity drop of around 80 fps or so.

No shit, I've not used reloader always 4350 for the 6.5CM but I'm impressed. That's a lot of powder , heavy bullets , great groups and smoking velocity. 3,000+ fps with a 140+gn bullet out of a 6.5CM , that's something. How did the brass holdup, pressure signs? What barrel length? ES is in the...

I'm planning to have a 6.5 spun up so thanks for the info. What twist rate does your barrel have?

Anyone shooting an A1 with a 22" barrel chambered for 6.5 CM? I'm thinking about having one spun up and looking for input, good or bad, from those with first hand experience. This will be for hunting mainly, using 130 VLD's which I have found to be very effective out of a 26" barrel. Thanks

Anyone know where I can order ejector pins and springs along with the roll pin for the A1 300wm size bolt? I couldn't find anything on the DT website.

Actually the flag is facing the correct direction, it's the opposite of the right side. The real problem is the bolt is on the wrong side, at least for me. Really nice looking job on the paint job.

Actually for what it's worth I kind of agree with what you are saying about size and number of fasteners but clamping force calculation goes like this. Just having a little fun but I'll take four screws over one anyday, especially if she's pretty!

My DTA has been wearing the Really Right Stuff 20 moa mount and I'm very pleased with it. Nicely designed and machined to tight tolerances so you don't have to torque the shit out of the caps. The suggested torque values fall within what Khales recommends which isn't much. Best thing is they...

Is 2820 fps too fast from a factory 24' 6.5CM RPR barrel? Blown primer?

I'm a speedaholic, however I've learned better. Be careful, blown primers and sticky bolt are telling you something. Here is a good article to take a look at www.primalrights.com/library/articles/understanding-pressure

    Sell everything towards AIAX MC?

Curious, what amount of point of impact change is there after zeroing, removing and reinstalling the barrel? Do you just re-zero every time you install a barrel?

    Thruster Brake Removal

I'm sure others will chime in with their method but for me the brass bar works. I picked up two from Granger, different sizes for different port sizes and both about a foot long. After you take off the first brake your concerns should go away. Enjoy suppressed.

    Thruster Brake Removal

Well I use a brass bar to remove or tighten muzzle brakes. Your brake is stainless steel I believe and no way a brass bar could harm it that I could think of. And i'm guessing you know the alternative; Use a split clamp wrench or the Badger Ordnance compensator wrench P/N 1005-306-35. If you...
