    I have used some TAB and TIS slings in the past. I now prefer to use slings that are as simple as possible. The BFG sling is a good example. I am currently using a heavily modified MagPul MS3 sling.

    You know the difference between having a smith true up the muzzle and timing the brake, correct?

    I would never assume factory threads are concentric and everything is trued. Unless it is from one of a handful of very highend makers. I would send it out to a trusted smith that understands how to true a muzzle for a supressor before I did anything else.

    Who threaded your barrel and how sure are you that the threads are completly concentric to the bore and the muzzle is true?

    Not to beat a dead horse, but Syrac would be my choice. I have shot a JP until the screw walked even with Loctite on it. The retaining feature of the Syrac is worth it to me.

    do you shoot .308 FACTORY ammo out of your 7.62x51 chamber semi-auto?

    All I have shot so far out of my 16" 7.62 OBR is SW Ammo M118LR ammo.
