New optic for Spr 1-10 or 2-10

For an SPR, I think you should go for the 2-10. This lightly used Vortex Viper PST Gen II 2-10x32 is a little heavy, but pretty nice. It has parallax adjustment, and is illuminated.

    Leupold MARK 5HD 2-10x30

The size of the MK 5HD 2-10 is appealing, to me. It's nice to be so close, in size, to an LPVO. The weight is a little disappointing (24 oz).

    Rangefinders. Which one ?

Here is a good deal on a like-new Leica ringmaster CRF 3500.COM. And, here is a good deal on a lightly used Vortex Razor HD 4000.

    Binocular Stabilizing Devices

Would a well-fitted harness / strap help with stability? The same way a sling can help with a rifle.

    Leupold Mark 5 5-25 or Nightforce NX8 4-32?

Here's a good deal on a lightly used Mark 5HD, if you go that route.

    Rangefinding binoculars

    Here's a like-new in box Vortex Fury HD 5000 for $959.20.

Scope: Hunting 200 Yards and in.

Either of these would be a good option, if you don't mind used: Leupold VX-5HD 2-10x42 Trijicon Accupoint 2.5-10x56

    Spotting scope $1000ish

Here's the same spotter, linked a few posts above, for $100.00 less. It's a like new in box, Vortex Razor HD 11-33x50.

Rifle Scopes Scope selection help. Where to start?

    The above suggestions are good.

    Magnification throw direction...

You're right! For some reason, this isn't mentioned. I guess a person has to look at the pictures (trying to see the magnification numbers), to figure out if a scope is clockwise, or counter-clockwise. The only time I care is on rifles that are carried, usually on a sling, it's nice to not have...

Rifle Scopes New Primary Arms PLXC 1-8 FFP

I agree. It reminds me of the Vortex Razor 1-6, in that regard.

Razor GIII 6-36 doesn't clear NF Ultramount

The picture of this mount, on Nightforce's website, looks as though there's not much room (if any) to spare on an ATACR 1-8.

    March 1-10 shorty updated

I prefer capped turrets on an LPVO, so this is good. March is maybe the best precision-oriented LPVO, because of the parallax adjustment.

Rifle Scopes Schmidt and Bender Prices

I agree with that! Here is a like-new-in-box PM II 5-25 with the P4FL reticle. It'll go on sale, later today, for $2500.00. It includes an optional kill-flash.

Primary Arms GLx 1-10x24 FFP just dropped

Primary Arms did a great job with their PLx-C 1-8. I'm anxious to see the GLx 1-10.

    Red Dot Question

Think of it as two separate ways of aiming. If they each work properly, by themselves, you are in good shape. Definitely do the zeroing on the bench-rest.

Scope mag range for AR10 in 6.5 cm

4-16 is definitely, "enough," for those distances. But, as the above posters have stated, most seem to enjoy the added magnification, even if it's not needed. The 4-20 ATACR is about 5 oz heavier, 1.3 inches longer, and $500.00 more expensive than than the 4-16. Just so you are aware of the...

New! Universal sun shade binos and spotters

Good idea! It's practical and affordable.

Rifle Scopes Nx8 for hunting rifle ?

That's true. But, there are trade-offs between an 8x magnification range, and a 4x magnification range. That said, the NX8 4-32 is a good choice. I didn't mean to imply otherwise.

Rifle Scopes Nx8 for hunting rifle ?

32x is a lot of magnification for a hunting scenario. something in the mid-range might be better. The ATACR 4-16 would be really nice. If you're wanting to save some money, the SHV stands for "Shooter, Hunter, Varminter." (I read that on the internet, but it might be true). Here's a good deal on...
