Here in SW KS a few farms have and or had a couple Great Pyrenees. I spent a little time at one during the summer. That dog was on patrol every evening around the place. Prior to becoming an SOT I had one or two that appeared to be test fired. At first I was like WTF? Got over it pretty quick as I was thankful paperwork finally came back. My sport ears took just a bit to get used to but not long. I often forget I have them in unless it is over 95F and then I take them out to dry my ears out as well as the units them self. Way better than muffs in my opinion.- GUNNER75

Several years ago at SHOT I took advantage of a deal and picked up a pair of Sport Ear Custom (360's but older) in ear units. Still running them today. Love them. Hands down if I were to buy something today I'd go Sound Gear Phantom. (I actually got fit for a set of Sound Gear a few years ago...- GUNNER75

FWIW, I haven't researched it however I was told there are provisions for such companies to remain in place as WA doesn't want to loose the manufacturing. I reached out to ZEV and inquired about them moving and the response was "There are no plans on moving at this time".- GUNNER75

I got home, grabbed my S&B Rifle, set up on tripod in my shop door, just had to confirm. Yep, sure enough......(with zero mind fucks factored in), dialed elevation, evaluated wind, dialed for giggles, sent it. (wind was minimal) DING! Dumb ass.........follow the arrow............- GUNNER75

You are right about me mind fucking myself. I've got a handle on it now and I'll never forget it. This is a "show/example" rifle that I rarely shoot at matches.
