Finding lands with Loctite
I use a Borg Warner Flux Capacitating Turbo charged micrometer to get a baseline, then I cut the barrel in half so I can actually see where the lands are. This is the only accurate way. Once I've JB welded a dummy round into the chamber to get my measurements I use a traditional Japanese Katana...- BoltRunner

16-18 inch shorty rifles
No prob, it's 16.5" to the end of the threads then the break, barrel clears the forend by about 1.5". Keep in mind this is the old AX Chassis 13" forend on short action. I dunno what the new one is.- BoltRunner
