I used to run H4350 but its more popular and harder to find so I swapped over for that reason and you can get more speed with less pressure and less powder used with IMR 4350...

    This is what I'm going after now seating depth and neck tension. Putting together a ladder test with seating depth every .003 from max mag length back looking for 2 nodes together then going to neck tension.

    Good points and thanks, I'd love to get my hands on RL26 but haven't seen it in prob 9 months locally and cant seem to catch it online. I'll try to tighten the groups up with seating depth and keep looking for powder 👍

    You don't need to do all that measuring unless you just want to, make a dummy round and measure outside diameter of the loaded neck then minus your .002 or however much neck tension you want. Order bushing, done

Lapua/Peterson/Alpha is about the best but I even have Remington RP that has tons of firings on it from light loads to compressed really hot loads. The RP Brass...

    Finally got everything back from the smith swapping from 260 Rem to 7 SAUM... Magnum Bolt from BAT Machine, 28" Benchmark 1-8.5T barrel, Accurate WSM Mags, Area 419 Sidewinder Brake. Had my smith trim feedramp to mag feed 2.970 from a short action. Not sure if I was more excited to get my rifle...
