Moving Targets - Dry Firing in Workshop or Rimfire, HELP!

I lost beaucoup points this past year on movers and we are never shown where our hits are, so it difficult for me to diagnose what I'm doing wrong (pretty sure I'm not estimating target speed correctly, and yes, I've seen the recent threads here and am committing them to memory). Meanwhile...

Looking for the most accurate 18" 223 Wylde chambered barrel.

To each his own I guess, but I just took a 1/7 barrel off to go back to 1/8. 1/8 will shoot anything from 55-80 grains well, while I had a hard time shooting 55's accurately with 1/7.

Welcome to the forum Jesse! Athlon, Sightron, Weaver Tactical are all good starting places.

Rifle Scopes What scope are people using in the gas gun matches?

Surprised nobody has mentioned some variant of the Bushnell 3.5-21 yet. Might be a better option for those of us shooting on a budget.

Advanced Marksmanship Practiscore or other match scoring software questions - simple point value impossible?

Yeah, that's what I was going to recommend. They are pretty open to expanding Practiscore to other disciplines.

How do you prevent stainless pin from being stuck in case?

I know the cases come out looking beautiful with SS pins, but the risk factor seems too high for me. And I have enough steps already to load precision ammo, no way I'm adding another. Sticking with tumbling using lizard bedding procured from local PetCo.

Reload precision rifle on Dillon 650?

Thanks for info, and I am not trying to hijack the thread. I shoot 223/DMR so I'm considering using my 1050 for at least practice ammo.

Reload precision rifle on Dillon 650?

Great info here. In the Dillon 1050 less prone to accurate loads compared to the 550 and 650?

Rifle Scopes Bushnell reticle thickness G3 illuminated vs non illuminated

+1. Buddy and I couldn't get pics, but the illuminated reticle seems more usable on low power, yet thick on high power, but non-illum reticle seemed mo betta for precision work at high power. With that said I have no problems shooting 3/4" dots at 100 yards with my illuminated models.

    Tank Trap - seeking plans/advice

That's too funny. My neighbors would know I completely lost my mind if my property had tank traps around the perimeter.

    Tank Trap - seeking plans/advice

Excellent. I never even considered having it wobbly, I appreciate the thoughts.

    Tank Trap - seeking plans/advice

Thanks for the info. So approximately how high is the point where the three 4x4's cross?

    Tank Trap - seeking plans/advice

I want to make a tank trap out of wood to practice with in my backyard, therefore it doesn't need to be portable. Should be pretty simple to make, but I do not have measurements. Does anyone have dimensions or plans?

    Mk12Mod1 accuracy problems/questions

I built a DMR using a Centurion Mk12 barrel. With the right load & shooter it's a 0.5 MOA gun, and any decent quality ammo shoots 1 MOA or better, it's an impressive barrel. The chamber on this gun is the tightest I've ever seen on an AR, but the throat is longer than I'd like. I think you...

    Weighing Projectiles - Variances

Interesting discussion. I have been weighing (and measuring length of) bullets recently and have noticed my Bergers being more consistent than the Hornady and Sierra's. But Hornady's certainly seem to be consistent, especially given their price.
