    Does anyone here have the enclosed forend? If so, does the enclosed forend give a lower spigot mount position? I got a new barrel and I am literally a hair too big in diameter to use the TRG bipod without touching.

    Shoots like a dream! Ammo was made for the Tikka factory barrel and the new barrel shot them very well. The non-groups were for sight in/cleaning. The 5 shot group was after break in shots.     Sako TRG Barrel Clearance

    I used a Marksman contour for my Bravo and get the same issue as you do. I think Medium Palma is practically the largest size barrel for adequate clearance. Live and learn.

    Pretty darned close. The texture is finer on the TRG. I just wish it took TRG magazines because AICS mags are way too long.
