    Why not offer them both in FFP. I personally do not like the size or weight of the ATACR. The NXS is noticeably lighter when mounted on an already heavy rig. They could have just put the better glass in the NXS and offered it in FFP and would still have a better scope than the competition...

    For same barrel life why not 6.5-284 Norma? Bit more juice than the 260. Or 284. The Rem Mag 7 still has noticeable recoil and wouldn't be much fun with a neck or back injury. I'm right handed and when my left rotator cuff went out, my 308 made any shooting not fun. You will still feel it.
