My first and second Tracker build. Definitely a different type of bushcraft knife. I’ve found them to be good at a lot of different tasks, but not as good as having a hatchet and a knife in my kit.
Tried a few makers over the years. Adventure Sworn,AA Forge and Benchmade mainly.. Really like Sargent Edged Tools. His M3BS is definitely a top of the line bushcraft knife.
Killed many deer with a 22lr, so yes a 9mm will work, shot placement is key. Base of skull would be my choice also. In a pinch a 6 inch blade or a long screwdriver behind the shoulder will work also.

I'm wondering what facts have you found to make a statement that the MXT has found more gold in Alaska than any other detector?
All the guys I know in Alaska run Minelabs or the Whites GMT.
