New Contest Starting Now! This Target Haunts Me
Tell us about the one that got away, the flier that ruined your group, the zero that drifted, the shot you still see when you close your eyes. Winner will receive a free scope!
I purchased the mark 4 years ago. Sold it like an idiot and recently ended back up with one. Purchased on here. Military ones that were sent back to Leupold to be looked over and inspected. I really like it. Comes with a cover. Not the best but you can always upgrade that down the line. They...
Tikka is the way I'd go. What's your plan for the rifle hunting, range toy, or competition. I bought a used tikka t3x varmint for about $650 shipped on here a few years ago. Patience is a virtue. Couldn't be more pleased with it.
If its a hunting/ target rifle I would build it to your preferred hunting weight. Buy the lightweight stock and then add weights as needed for the range. If it's to heavy at its lightest then your kind of stuck there.
I have a tikka t3x varmint and a GAP Gladius in 223. Tikka does not like cheap ammo and I need to by better quality ammo to get it to group tight. My GAP shoots anything into a tiny little hole. Why not the tikka t3x ctr?
Think there is a thread about somone having the same issue when removing the badge. Believe some were defaced improperly and others are blacked out neatly. They contacted S&B about it but I believe they ended up with new scope
Thanks for reply. Been Wanting this rifle since you posted it but it would probably just sit in my safe. If it was in the 7 pound range I probably couldn't resist.
I can't believe it either. I'm trying to justify buying this and telling myself I don't need it simultaneously.
Would go well with my tikka varmint rifle. If I wasn't about to buy a leupold spotter I'd have snatched it up.
Just a few questions...
1) What generation are these?
2) What kind of use have you put them through?
(ie.....rifle, caliber, and round count)
3) Have they ever had any issues that warranty had to cover?
