    Sidearms & Scatterguns A Gentleman’s Pair – Les Baer TRS & Strider MT-10

It's a tack driver, and super reliable. The gold bead front site is sick.

Cool side-by-side pic of early model HOG Saddle

Units should be back in stock early April. The USMC submitted a large order that put us behind a little. Thanks for the patience.

Sidearms & Scatterguns Full Size 1911 or full size xd both 45 cap?

I own both. Go with the XD45 Compact (not Sub-Compact) if you go the XD route. It will take 10rnd and 13rnd mags and is very close to the same size as a Glock19. The XD45 Compact carries real well for concealed applications since the grip is shorter. You can then carry extra 13rnd mags for reloads.

Cool side-by-side pic of early model HOG Saddle

This is a cool side-by-side pic of an early model HOG Saddle and the current MOD7. We’ve come a long way since 2006. Thanks for supporting a Marine Scout Sniper who strived to make a better tripod mounted rifle rest than the standard, homemade PVC pipe rest. The constructive criticism...

Anyone have experience with both the Monfrotto 190XPRO3 and 190XPRO4, 3 vs 4 section

I have a lot of experience with Manfrotto tripods. (shooting, observing, photography) The last section on the 4 section tripod is worthless. The only advantage with the 4 section is that it folds up to a smaller package when transporting the tripod. If you aren’t planning on using the tripod...

Sidearms & Scatterguns Recommend a gunbelt

Re: Recommend a gunbelt Mernickle and 5.11 leather belts have worked great for me. Also give Ares Gear ranger belts a look. The people over at Ares are great guys.

    Sidearms & Scatterguns A Gentleman’s Pair – Les Baer TRS & Strider MT-10

Re: A Gentleman’s Pair – Les Baer TRS & Strider MT-10 It's the same knife that is awarded to the SS schoolhouse honor grad but I wasn't the honor grad when I went through SS school. Long story short, dropped by Strider to have a knife resharpened and wound up walking away with this 8541...

Sidearms & Scatterguns need help finding a good iwb holster

Re: need help finding a good iwb holster I've used Bladetech IWB holsters for the last several years for EP details. They are affordable, quiet, and draw faster than leather holsters. I surprisingly prefer the Bladetech holsters over my MiltSparks...

Duracoat or Cerakote to match Manners OD Green

Re: Duracoat or Cerakote to match Manners OD Green Cerakote all the way. Incredible stuff. It’s super durable and makes rust a non-issue in the field.

    Sidearms & Scatterguns A Gentleman’s Pair – Les Baer TRS & Strider MT-10

Re: A Gentleman’s Pair – Les Baer TRS & Strider MT-10 Unless I find myself in dire financial straits, this set isn’t leaving the family. I plan to pass them on to my boy. The Strider MT-10 is “8541” stamped and custom engraved on the opposite side.

Suppressors SUPCOV / Griptastic Can Covers???

Re: SUPCOV / Griptastic Can Covers??? I know US Tactical Supply did some heat testing with these about six months ago. They took a blowtorch and high temp thermometer to the suppressor cover and went up to 2000 degrees. The material did not melt.

    Sidearms & Scatterguns A Gentleman’s Pair – Les Baer TRS & Strider MT-10

I thought I'd share a pic after dressing up the old Les Baer TRS. This 1911 would rust if I even looked at it so I gave it a Cerakote finish. While I was at it, I swapped the sights for a 10-8 rear and a Novak gold bead front sight. (Keeping it old school) Since the Les Baer slide fit is so...

    Manfrotto 190xproB question

Re: Manfrotto 190xproB question I know a bunch of guys running 18lbs rigs with 190XPROB tripods. You'll be fine. A 055XPROB tripod could be a better choice if shooting heavier rifles, magnum calibers, or if you plan on firing from high kneeling to standing positions.

My Hog Saddle & Tripod Setup, 50 BMG Rated

Re: My Hog Saddle & Tripod Setup, 50 BMG Rated Nice looking rig. That rifle is a beast. We need video! Last week I got a chance to talk to some Barrett reps at the USASOC Sniper Comp. They had a HOG Saddle with them and said they were happy with how it performs with their rifles. You should...
