    They were higher quality items. The shop they came from / we chose for original actions was a serious aerospace place. He was proud of his quality record. Now we might have had some that didn’t make the cut or revisions. But the bull of them were good to go spec wise

    When there are lots of driver changing seats you need 4-5 races compared to 20 years ago it was 1-2 races maximum. The budget restriction on sims, wind tunnel, track time makes it impossible to get the driver, crew, and car on the same page. They just can’t get enough hours to set up cars...

    I think they came in cases of 12 I don’t think we had 100 cases..but I’m prob wrong. Was 4/5 years ago. The mark up on them was very low we pretty much just passed them through because they were sold “as is”. Didn’t want people bitching that it’s out of spec and costs X actually I think...

    Is bullet still stable/accurate after it goes subsonic?

    I don’t want to be that guy..but I don’t understand why people shoot cartridges way past their expected / designed criteria. If your shooting 2500 yards I can see purposefully shooting a cartridge that goes subsonic etc..there arent any that stay supersonic. The amount of ammo wasted shooting...

    I think there was a real benefit to mil 15 years ago. Today with cheap LRF and free ballistic apps everywhere combined with so many FFP scopes in MOA, it’s getting to a toss up. If you have a spotter make sure the spotter is using the same mil/moa. No one should be thinking in “measurements”...
