    Sako trg 22 over AIAE

Great choice, I have two TRG's and just picked up an AIAE mk3. I have to say that the AE is a pig, it weighs about 2lbs more than the TRG's and doesn't cycle as fast as my TRG's. I'm going to try to compete in long range precision with it, so only more trigger time and a competition will let me...

    Almost Feels Like Cheating

I hope you took a picture, as this is not normal and you may spend the rest of your shooting career trying to do it again. The shooting gods have you addicted. Scott

Rifle Scopes Swfa 5-20 eye relief

The scope has a very good eye box, as a noob, it takes a little time and practice to learn how to drop down on the scope. You may need an adjustable cheek piece on your stock. Enjoy, Scott

    7mm 08 Barrells

I fully agree, I have a TRG in 7mm08 and one in 260, the 7mm08 stays in the safe on competition day. I tried two different muzzle brakes and the rifle simply has too much recoil shooting the 162 Amax's to spot shots in the 3-500 yard range when you are forced to shoot small targets in horrible...

Gunsmithing Bedding the recoil lug, stuck

If you can handle it, just leave it alone and shoot it. Like an AW rifle. Who knows, after a little shooting it just might break itself loose. Because of my OCD I'm not sure I could leave it alone once I decided to remove it. Scott

Range Report The Hornady 140 amax ammo. The OLD VS THE NEW

A shitty day at the range brought me to this thread. I picked up an AIAE MK3 with a 26" barrel and was all stoked about getting it sighted in, until I shot it with Hornady "MATCH" ammo and it printed a group like a shot gun My lot number is 3133063, and I had similar results as the person I...

**2014 JC Steel Target Challenge, Sponsored by Seekins Precision

Thanks Jake, Sponsors, and RO's I had a great time despite the bad weather. My favorite stages were the fun house and the challenging positional shooting it presented, I need to bring a saw next year to get rid of that pesky crossmember above Saturday's #2 window though. Followed by the Tanerite...

    MAGPUL rifle slings

I have two MS3 slings, that's all I run for my long guns. I had a sling with a cuff on it, but it took too much time to get it adjusted during competitions so I sold it. Great product. Scott

    Arm Dope card

Thanks for all of the positive feedback guys, I work hard to design and build high quality products for the shooting community. As long range tactical matches evolve, the stages are becoming more challenging in different ways. The targets are getting smaller, times are decreasing and the stages...

    Atlas vs Harris

Ok, here is my thoughts. Harris, less expensive, legs are spring loaded and move from stowed position to use position faster. Atlas, outstanding build quality, legs will fold and lock in multiple shooting positions. I had an Atlas and now have multiple Harris bipods with notched legs and...

Best feet for Atlas Bipod for sand/soft ground?

+1 for Tactical supplier's feet. They are crazy light, and since I have a 28" barrel on my rifle I need try to cut weight anywhere possible. The spike portion digs into the frozen ground, wood barricades and hard dirt, while the large coller section keeps them from sinking into the soft dirt. Scott

Is a rangefinder a "necessary" part of LRS?

+1 It's one of the tools that you will need to make long shots without having to "walk in" every shot. Scott

    Switching to Froglube

I really liked Frog lube until my last match, when we started shooting it was 6 degrees and got up to the high teens in the afternoon. I'm glad I had some Hoppe's 9 to clean my bolt off with, it saved the day. Scott
