    If you don't like the vertical style rings Midwest Industries makes a QD cantilever scope mount also.

    For a small frame AR I would go cantilever mount. As for the mount, if you do not need a QD lever mount I really like the Nightforce unimounts. So if it were me in your position I would buy that scope from Sport Optics (That scope is on sale) and either NF A257 or A194 mount.

    I'm thinking it is one of these contours but I cannot tell where 'B' to measure because I can't see where there is a contour change. Measurement 'A' looks to be 1.20" and at the muzzle end closest point before the threading starts is .991".

    I ordered the Magpul American Hunter stock and the Midas Tac 6-24x50 yesterday. Ordered the scope from a friendly and very interesting gentleman from Cameraland. They gave me a good deal and very happy I called them.

    I'd get the version that takes the AICS mags, stick it in a Magpul American Hunter stock, Magpul bipod, Seekins rings and top it with an Athlon Midas Tac 6-24x50. I've got an extra Dead Air brake to put on it and use my Sandman K.
