New Contest Starting Now! This Target Haunts Me
Tell us about the one that got away, the flier that ruined your group, the zero that drifted, the shot you still see when you close your eyes. Winner will receive a free scope!
I tell you one think I admire on the classics though...ground clearance. I'd really like a newish Mustang but I must say the low ride height is concerning. Some of the back roads around here (AKA the roads that make me want a Mustang the most) are pretty narrow and passing oncoming puts you...
This was not an enjoyable read in the end. The writing style reminded of Stephen Hunter, which is fine, but the plot was unsatisfying and felt kind of incomplete. Not sure if I want to try any of the other books in the series.
That is largely what I did but what I found was a rifle that someone had done what the OP is considering. It was seemingly nicely restored to military trim with a bent bolt and the reciever D&T for a Redfield pattern scope base, but it turned out to be drilled wrong. I have an EGW base on it...
Any particular reason for the 94 over the 92, or 45 Colt over 44 Magnum? .454 would also be kind of nice.
My personal dream is a 1886 takedown with extra barrels, though I almost certainly wouldn't be willing to spend the money to have it built.
I normally don't like the post cars but the 2 Lane Blacktop car manages to look just right to me. I'd like it better if it was one of the shorter roofline hardtops but it's not bad the way it is.
Did the Air Force have M40s or something similar? I read an article about M24 developement and it talked about aquiring M40 style rifles from Air Force security forces during development.
@Mister rid
Cooler than my idea. I wanted a river table style counter, with a the main counters looking a river running into the sink and the island looking like a river delta.
