    You could take a ball gauge and mic the bore from the edge onwards and see if it gets smaller , past the threaded part back into the barrel to the ,,,,, shoulder and see if it gets smaller , that would tell you if it’s worth cutting and crowning again

    You might try loosening the mag well and pushing it forward toward the muzzle , take all the slack out of the bolt holes , tighten the bolts , see if that helps

If so Anschutz bore are said to be taper that is why they leave the swell on the end of the muzzle to help increase the tight muzzle .     The 4x ? They made a Kollmorgen with the adjustment knobs forward but they weren’t target knobs and 26mm tube ? How hard are these to find ?

    Thanks pmclaine I’ve seen the statements installing the bearcubs both kollmergens and redfield but wasn’t sure if they were substitutes or ever issued , I guess I should call and check on my VV friend and check on him give me an excuse to chat lol Thanks again
