Night Vision N Vision Halo XRF vs IRay RH50R

Yes, it does. It's not user replaceable but is by iRay USA. It uses 18650's in addition to the internal battery. The only scope coming in to the US is the ACE H50R. It's a traditional scope tube and has all the features of the RH50R. Laser is in the objective vs on the side (it's rather...

Night Vision N Vision Halo XRF vs IRay RH50R

I meant to mention that the Nocpix scope uses 18650 batteries as do the new Lumi scanners. I agree about the proprietary batteries. They cost more and who knows how long they will be available to purchase.

Night Vision N Vision Halo XRF vs IRay RH50R

I have an RH50R and my buddies have the Halo. The picture in the iRay looks nicer to my eye than the Halo. Take a look at the nocpix stuff that's shipping to dealers this week. It's made by iRay. The lasers are now integrated into the objective.

    75 Degree Bolts are landing

Wouldn't that actually be 83% contact (75/90) assuming 100% contact on a 90 degree bolt? Math has never been my strong suit.

    75 Degree Bolts are landing

It hasn't. The the bolt handle location is changed. Rather than having full lug contact as in a 90 it'll have part of the lugs not in contact so as to achieve the 75 degree throw. If you have a serious pressure issue and the lugs get set back you'll have part of the lugs set rather than all...

    Discontinued? That didn't last long.

    X - Vectronix Shooting Solutions

I have the Geovid Pro and Steiner 1535nm which has a small laser. I usually test on very small targets. Try to find a horizontal and vertical post like a fence and find the edge of the laser. Once you've figured that out on a small target you'll be able to better hit that larger target if...

    Bump with price drop

That is disappointing. I was hoping they'd be better co-witnessed than that. I hope the pair I get is better than that. I want them to replace the Steiner. I realize the Steiner 1535 four times the cost but my pair is spot on. That with the very fine reticle makes ranging small targets easier.

    Kelby's Prometheus Action

I replaced my Nanook's for the same reason as above. I still run them in "lightweight" setups.

There was a review in this thread or another on SH where it was stated they were equal to the Leica Geovid Pro.

    6.5 PRC Loads

Yes, I have shot 1000's of the 147, maybe even 10,000. The only bullet I've ever had come apart was a 112 Matchburner from a Dasher in a comp. And, that was only one of 1000's. I have heard they're inconsistent lot to lot but I've not personally experienced that.

    6.5 PRC Loads

I was going to post the same thing. N560 was more accurate than N565 in my PRC but I had some big changes in velocity with large temp swings. Regarding the 147 coming apart, I've not personally seen that. All I've seen is 7 African animals dead right there and a few elk as well. I was...

I had great results with N560 but temp sensivity

I know you can on 10K and Geovid.

    X - Vectronix Shooting Solutions

Ah. Well, I assumed they connect just like others. II don't connect a bino with onboard AB to a Kestrel so I can't say I've paid close enough attention. Either way, if using the onboard sensor suite the temp will be higher than normal if sitting in the sun for a long while.

    X - Vectronix Shooting Solutions

These are like the 10K, Geovid, Fury, etc., and have onboard AB. So, the like the others, they can bluetooth to a Kestrel and use the Kestrel to provide a solution or use the onboard AB and environmentals to calculate a solution without the Kestrel. If the bino temp is abnormally high the...

    X - Vectronix Shooting Solutions

They can't be any different than any other bino with onboard environmentals. If you leave them in the direct sun or hot vehicle for a while the temp is going to be abnormally high.
