Shoulder bump inconsistency
Sounds like a lube issue. The right amount on some brass and not enough on others. On a side note, OP, if you are using quality brass like lapua, alpha, or peterson, I would aim for 3-4 thousands shoulder bump. Its never affected the life of the brass with good brass. I've looked at a lot of reamer prints for the swede AI and Improved versions. Everything on yours looks good. Might see if its possible to change the base/P1 from .479 to .4794 , I know that is not much but I had a 6.5 gwi that was giving me clickers and the base was too tight in the web at...- tho98027

I'm currently shooting a 6.5x55 Improved 35 degree shoulder. Has a 70 thousand freebore. I'm shooting berger 130 hybrids 3050 fps with 52 gn of H4831SC in a short action, 23" hawkhill barrel braked. I had a 6.5x55 improved chamber that was giving me clickers after a couple reloads. I had a set of custom whidden dies made after the clickers showed up and sent in 4x fired brass. The new custom dies still didn't help. Would still get clickers. My opinion its a chamber issue. Just too tight in...- tho98027
