New Contest Starting Now! This Target Haunts Me
Tell us about the one that got away, the flier that ruined your group, the zero that drifted, the shot you still see when you close your eyes. Winner will receive a free scope!
More than likely stolen or gov property. Just sayin. Those have never been sold commercially. Absolutely cant get it fixed if it goes tits up. Aside from the SPEAR, which is also restricted, the illuminators suck on LRFs anyway and you'd be better served to get a MARS-Lc or RAPTAR S with AB.
Since we are hitting mk2 at the beginning then I think it will be a little better. Biggest issue will be supply. Often the time from order to delivery is the biggest factor and that is a moving target with wars etc.
Mk1 lrf updates would be harder since no Bluetooth but who knows. I hope so.
No IBEAM "TRACIR" available yet in MK2 but I am told that there may (emphasize MAY) be a firmware update at some point to receive solutions via Bluetooth from peripherals. Was told this update would be user installed if it happened.
Updated original post with pricing.
$16,499.00 and expected Late March early April. There will be a 15% discount available to original purchasers of MK1. We will verify by Serial #. Clip on capabilities are the same so if you bought the first gen last yr you still own the same kick ass unit you...
I think the Remote accessory that allows for full menu access will be very popular. One thing to note is the 2022 delivered xelr was known internally as the mk1.5 the true mk1 elr was a 17 micron with a 100mm lens. Once you have remote there will be very little reaching with MK2 when prone as...
Depends on what you're after. The Voodoo will defintely take more mag if that is what you mean. The Voodoo is smaller. The SR will run approx 3x longer, doesn't have an adjustable diopter, has internal shutter and is thousands less with a 10 yr warranty. I do love the VooDoo S but this will...
While this is quite a bit larger than the skeet the stand alone and clip on capabilities are much better in my opinion with the SR. The skeet was originally designed to be a handheld first and everything else second ( IED search requirement) The SR was designed as a clip on first so you have a...
Well, nature of the beast I guess. Always something new around the corner with these manufacturers. Evolve or die right? Yes on Theon. I'm assuming so. They are always building these things for MIL...we just reap the benefits.
New for this yr is the MK2 SR FTS version (DRT exclusive) of the EOTECH CLIP-IR. This is the "short range" version of the new line-up of thermal optics from EOTECH. It has both stand alone and clip-on capabilities. It features an 18.5 degree FOV that is perfect for 1-6x type cqb optics. Comes on...
New year, new gear. Eotech is releasing the next generation of Clip-IR clip-ons this yr. Here I'll discuss the X-ELR MK2 ( they may end up dropping the "x" again but for now we'll go with X-ELR) I've been testing the MK2 and I really like the upgraded features. It is a much more versatile optic...
