New Contest Starting Now! This Target Haunts Me
Tell us about the one that got away, the flier that ruined your group, the zero that drifted, the shot you still see when you close your eyes. Winner will receive a free scope!
Understand we are not competing for prizes. I do not question the targets and appreciate the info you have posted. But will have to agree to disagree about your calculations. Ontarget assumes .223 holes are .233 in diameter and that is why it subtracts .223" from edge to edge to get center to...
No, NOT calling you a liar. But I do say your calculated measurement is incorrect. You clearly stated that the holes in that paper are 0.117" Therefore you should be subtracting 0.117" from your measurements not .223 to give correct value. Is that not correct?
Never suggested causation. Just said a significant percentage of Razor owners have the same issue despite what Rob says.
Rob says they are incompetent, you say they are retarded. I say the the zero dial is not precise and often takes some fiddling even when you know the precise offset.
All of the shooters I see shooting Tac can shoot any cartridge they want. They choose to shoot 308 which is fine.
I am all for a MIL/LE class. I am also for womens, kids and new shooter classes to try and bring more shooters into the game.
TAC just makes no sense to me.
I know this has been brought up before but I just don't get it. Saw a "Top Tactical" pic from a recent match and looked to see where the shooter finished. He finished 45 out of 86 shooters and 1st out of the 2 shooters in "Tac Division". What is the point? I have no problems with...
So I am a chicken little because I don't like getting flagged and am concerned that there are going to be serious consequences if attitudes and behaviors don't change?
You sir are part of the problem.
I do shoot matches and I absolutely point it out when it happens as I said in my post...
With all due respect, shooters that believe this are either in denial or oblivious. The fact that there have not been serious injuries yet (thankfully) does not mean things are safe. With all of the pics and videos of matches now being posted on social media, it is clear as can be that many...
Have cut back significantly on the number of bigger matches I shoot due to the terrible muzzle control. Tired of getting flagged and then getting attitude when I point it out. Doesn't seem to be getting any better. Every time I look through photos from recent matches you see multiple pics of...
I purchased and thought it was just OK. Picked up a few good tips but not worth the asking price for me. Honestly got better info and tips from free videos such as:
Understood, was not implying anything about your shooting. Just saying I have never seen or heard of a rimfire that consistently shoots 1/4 MOA.
I am using a Spectre II.
1/4 MOA would be 0.125" at 50 yards. If you could average 0.125" at 50 yards that would be a world record according to NBRSA.
Back to the topic at hand. I have shot my Vudoo and CZ455 with Lilja barrel at 50 yards with and without my suppressor. Using Center-X and Eley Match I did not see...
You can't leave the prize table out of this discussion. It IS the reason there is even a discussion.
If there is no prize table (the only way to take it out of the discussion) then why would anyone object to having different classes such as USPSA?
Everyone still looks at the scores to see who...
To be clear. I don't know anyone including myself that listens to the podcast for the drama.
I listen for the great content and I find Frank and Mike very entertaining in the way they deliver the content.
The "drama" makes up an incredibly small percentage of the podcast and Frank (and anyone...
Fuck the Trolls!
Keep up the good work Frank and Mike
Sometimes I get hit with some great knowledge bombs, but I am always entertained
Best wishes to Mr. Fuzz
