Any mountain bikers out there 2.0
They are privately owned, probably better let these two walk. I think they keep the two llamas and two donkeys around to protect the sheep & goats. These are my “home trails” now. If anyone is in North West Arkansas Horseshoe Canyon Ranch is worth checking out!- jbell

All valid points. If the shifting is improved or isn’t a factor for your use case a gear box drivetrain, Pinion or whom ever, can be a very solid system. If you do build it please post up the details and pics. I love all bikes, I am looking forward to it!- jbell

I have, a few years ago. Great in concept but meh in execution / actual use. The generation I rode would not shift under load basically at all. Maybe they are better now, I don't know. Belts are great but not better than chains IMO. They have to be tensioned pretty high which adds drag / drops...- jbell

Which Yeti would you be interested in? This is my first and so far I'm very impressed. I have owned a lot of super bikes over the years and this one is very nice. My wife road a SB110 that was a ripper with that switch infinity suspension. This is obviously a flex stay like the Blur, Epic /...- jbell

Thanks guys, not to down play it because it was a good day out but I have been doing this for a very long time so it really isn't anything too crazy. It just takes time and anyone can do the distance. 12K feet of climbing especially as steep as the climbs around here are add to the day for sure...- jbell

Been a while since I had time to get a good ride in. This Yeti is the best XC bike I have ever ridden, bikes just keep getting better. I know 12 mph average isn't impressive in general, but on the gravel roads here in Newton County Arkansas it's not too shabby. I was averaging 13 at the half way...- jbell
