New Contest Starting Now! This Target Haunts Me
Tell us about the one that got away, the flier that ruined your group, the zero that drifted, the shot you still see when you close your eyes. Winner will receive a free scope!
I think that is 10.22 mils but I am sure someone that is better at this can give the right answer. The reason I asked was that I have a short 16.5 inch .308 using factory Fed GMM 175 SMKs that need 14 mils of elevation at sea-level to hit at 1000 yards.
Cheers
Ok on the latest podcast I understood the point about the level being a training aid... but I did not get how to quarter the target to confirm you are level. maybe I heard it wrong..?
The PODCAST has given me lots to think about since I am just scratching the surface... WTFs. I decided I needed more so I am now doing the online training. I would love to see a California based class.
Cheers!
No worries I was just bust's your ballz... Just finishing up ep #100 might need to buy that sling you guys were talking about and take advantage of the discount code.
Was listening to the last pod cast #100 and it sounded like they were in the head with the sound bouncing off the bulkheads... the first visual that came to mind was Frank in heels on the shitter :ROFLMAO:
Over the weekend I caught up with EP #95 and I recall some information on the thumb of the support hand being used to apply pressure on the butt of the rifle to help mitigate fishtailing. There was also something about the index finger that I did not quite get. Hopefully someone here can...
The only new product I have experience with is the Comanche Feild Bag from Chas @ Warhorse Development. A great little bag that helps build a super stable position. Looking forward to the deluxe version!
I think this was mentioned in several other replies and likely other posts as well but maybe the solution is to have different tracts i.e. one designed around the fundamentals and another that allows for what is in the photo above.
