I came across some of the originals in my junk drawer. They are the same screws that come with the OLD SCHOOL Unertl mounts. I had several in my stuff. I compared them to the ones on my M70 witch are way easier to take off than the M40A1...

The picture is of a screw that I need. I dont have any to use as an example or measure. It goes on a Unertl mount and into a Rem 700 short action receiver.
