New Contest Starting Now! This Target Haunts Me
Tell us about the one that got away, the flier that ruined your group, the zero that drifted, the shot you still see when you close your eyes. Winner will receive a free scope!
The 5r has a 24" barrel and is threaded.
Sendero and XCR are 26" barrels and are fluted. XCR 3 larger flutes and Sendero has 6 small ones.
All 3 are 416 stainless.
XCR come factory coated trinyte.
The stock is a bell & carlson on the xcr with a more conventional grip size.
The 5r and Sendero are...
The xcr does NOT come threaded. The recoil is not bad but I have a ATACR F1 5-25x 56mm and a Harris bipod that weighs 19-20 oz on mine. Left mine unbreaked because of dust kick up.
Factory threading will not time with your muzzle break. When in comes to breaks it still has to be timed unless you...
What are you going to be shooting with these bullets?
I would go berger but I elk hunt a lot and like the wound channel they create on this size of animal.
The hornady should expand faster and maybe even a little bit better at extreme ranges.
The enhanced uppers work really well with 15" handguards. Very stable even with really heavy guns. The aero percision ones are my go to now. Great $ to benefit ratio.
Thanks for the info padom! Think the differences I have seen may have been related to using dillon dies. Will have to throw a set of redding dies into a 650 and load up more rounds that way.
Chargemasters work great.

What do you hunt and how far do you need to shoot with this rifle?
Could you go with a smaller caliber? This could allow you to drop another barrel contour and maybe allow a shorter barrel without loss of accuracy or increasing your trajectory.
Slip 2000 seems to do well in a variety of temperatures
M-Pro 7 is also not a bad choice
T17 breach plug grease is my favorite grease now after doing long term storage tests and temperature tests
Check your tension on the ADM. I have one of their bipod adapters and every picatinny rail seems to fit it a little different. Some barely tight enough and other I can barely close the lever all the way. Taking on and off the rail will loosen the fit as well.
The TPS rings will work no matter...
