How do I convert a rifle lower to sbr lower?

That's interesting..... While the majority of my collection is on Form 4s, I created a Trust for a SBR and used my initials in the Trust name i.e. engraving the lower with the same. Might have been okay since they were the same....

How do I convert a rifle lower to sbr lower?

You probably are giving good advice! I never had any problems following instructions and was always approved on the first effort but that was many years ago. I'm sure things have changed which might make it more confusing.

How do I convert a rifle lower to sbr lower?

If you find you need to mail it for engraving, get it done before you submit to ATF. Had a friend get approved then mailed the lower to a engraver only to have UPS drive the truck over the package and crush the lower. ATF required paying another $200 for a second registration.

Night Vision Let’s talk nods and muzzle devices

All the above plus, I used to run a 16" with a dedicated 4x scope (Gen III) in 5.56. Was using a standard A2 birdcage and never had the autogating kick in or shut down the NV. That length barrel allowed you to still view the target and what flash was visible dissipated so fast that you barely...

XTR III Illuminated 3.3-18x50 - Anyone receive one yet that can compare to the US made non-illuminated version?

Mine is ordered directly from Burris. I had a warranty claim and was offered the option to upgrade since my previous scope was no longer available.

XTR III Illuminated 3.3-18x50 - Anyone receive one yet that can compare to the US made non-illuminated version?

From the preliminary reports, the Philippine version is supposed to be excellent as for as glass quality and should hit well above it's price point. I've been waiting since March 2022 for mine to ship..... got the 3-18 SCR-2 (mil) ordered so I'm getting a lesson in patience! I will post when I...

Faxon Barrel for a lightweight 6.5 creedmoor build or something else?

I don't have experience in 6.5 and Faxon but I do have 1 in 14.5" Gunner profile and a fluted 20" in .224 Valkyrie and both exceeded my expectations in the accuracy department. Guess I got lucky!

ar308 bolt hard to come out of battery/ weird wear marks

If these other checks don't solve it, the extension may be improperly aligned. causing the lugs of the bolt to hang, I've seen it many times and while it may function, it will wear at an accelerated rate.

    Jonathon Ciener

That's just his character.... at one time he built the standard in suppressors. I have one in 5.56 and it still works as well as the day I bought it 30+ years ago! I have not done any business with him lately and the internet has several "poor" performance in the customer service area along with...

Sidearms & Scatterguns Steel Case Ammo - G19, G43x, PDP

I have run the Wolf Polyformance in 9mm and 45 acp and never had a problem. Just a side note.... fired up my o2/accl torch on an empty case and could not get the coating to melt or run. Case was red hot and nothing came off so at least with the Wolf brand, varnish buildup should not be a...

Rifle Scopes Extended 34mm scope mount for an ar15

I shoot nose to the charging handle and find the ADM Recon X works well. It has a 3" offset and probably the most extended mount on the market. The vertical split rings have not been an issue, if you've never used one, ALWAYS torque the 2 bottom screws first then move to top using shims to...

Leupold Mk 4 mil dot range estimation.

I have one and it is at the max magnification where ranging is accurate.

DBAL mounted at 3:00 or 9:00?

These are worth a look and you order them based on where your laser is mounted. Recommended!

DBAL mounted at 3:00 or 9:00?

Assuming you have a co-aligned version. It is a little more involved when setting zero but it will work without any major issues. Since the lasers are co-aligned, the zero is easy to set, try this on a DBAL-I2 and you will have a harder time getting it set. I've got a DBAL-D2 on top and while...

Need help deciding on first rifle (part II)

Years back, Armalite used to advertise 1moa or less on their target models. I have a 20" AR10B that actually shoots .5-.75 moa with good ammo. There are so many variables in making a claim, it probably became too much of a warranty issue where you waste the time and ammo checking rifles that...

    Vortex Recon Monocular

While not really in the same class, I have the SOLO-RT for traveling light and fast. @ 8x, it does replace my binos but not really a substitute when more mag is needed. Biggest advantage to the lower power is it can be used off-hand with minimal shake. The Recon @2 15x will need a support for...

    Feed ramp misaligned?

Sometimes they are a little slow but they usually take care of business in a reasonable time. Was that one of the uppers they recently had on sale?

What next Night Vision or precision rifle

If you venture into the NV realm, you'll never be seen again as you will be working forever to pay for all the cool equipment like helmet, laser, IR illuminators, and the list goes on and on and on........ That said, it does give you a distinct advantage in the dark once you figure out how it...

Sidearms & Scatterguns Steel Case Ammo - G19, G43x, PDP

No issues either but only for training/practice.

Varmint AR upper feedback wanted: fluting and barrel length

From experience, fluting a barrel only reduces the weight. The loss of barrel mass can be described as "yes they cool faster, but they also heat faster" since there is less mass to absorb the heat. If weight is a concern, get the fluted. If not, skip it and save the $$'s BTW, highly recommend...
