22 Creedmoor shooters - any regrets?

About the same as a 22-250 AI. No fire forming brass, and Alpha Munitions is going to be making 22 CM brass.

What do I not know about Savages?

I've got 6 or 7 rifles with Savage action's,plus a Shilen DGR action that uses the same style bolt head. Yes,the Savage style extractor needs to be replaced every so often,it gets worn from use. Ejection issues are generally Operator error from pulling the bolt back slowly. If you're having...

    Rifle Scopes IOR Valdada?

I learned a long time ago that the "Hater's" always out number the Positive reviews on almost any products, Most people that have positive trouble free use of a product usually don't take the time to post a good review on them. But,If a person has an issue with a product, they automatically get...

    Rifle Scopes IOR Valdada?

I know a couple guy's that have the IOR Recon, and love them. When I built my new rifle several months ago, there were two scopes that I had on my list, the Kahles k624i and the IOR Recon. I shoot LH,so I wanted a scope that I didn't have to either reach across or take my trigger hand off the rifle...

Rifle Scopes cronus on sale @ Cabelas

Mine showed up today. I pulled the turret caps and cleaned off the factory grease, then re-lubed the o-rings. The turrets are loud and proud now! My ARC rings should arrive tomorrow, then I just need to decide which rifle to put it on.

Rifle Scopes Ordered: VALDADA IOR 5.8-40x56 40mm Tactical FFP, MOA/MOA

I have a whole bunch of other guns,I just put it on another rifle and used it that way. That's what is great about picatinny rails, you can swap scopes in a matter of minutes. I guess there have to be clowns in every circus, some of you guy's question everything!

Rifle Scopes Ordered: VALDADA IOR 5.8-40x56 40mm Tactical FFP, MOA/MOA

HaHa,I assembled the rifle when the KRG chassis arrived, and test fit everything before taking it all apart to get Cerakoted. I'm still waiting on the Bix'n Andy LH TacSport trigger to arrive before I get to see how good it'll shoot. I figured some of you would see the trigger wasn't there,good...

Rifle Scopes Ordered: VALDADA IOR 5.8-40x56 40mm Tactical FFP, MOA/MOA

I just put a 4-28x50 Recon on my new 6.5 CM build. I love this scope, the glass & tracking are excellent, and since I shoot LH being able to easily adjust the parallax with my RH was another reason I bought the IOR. The only other scope that I really considered was the Kahles k624i.

Bix 'N Andy Tacsport - Anyone got it yet?

I'm waiting on the LH TacSports to arrive also. The last piece of the build puzzle for mine. I just got everything back from the Cerakoter yesterday, and put it all together, just need a trigger.

Troubleshooting Failure to Feed on a DPMS LR-308

Re: Troubleshooting Failure to Feed on a DPMS LR-308 I recently bought a new DPMS LR-260H and it also had problems with rounds getting jammed half-way into the chamber, and also wouldn't lock the bolt open after the last round. The buffer spring seems to be far too heavy in this weapon,and...

    Savage bolt handle ...

Re: Savage bolt handle ... I got all of mine from Midway USA,and they're the factory big knob bolt handles for LH actions. Two of them are on the old pre-Accutrigger receivers, and the other is a new style receiver. The Bolt handles fit either type of action.
