    look on hornady's site for velocity and energy for 6.5cm v 6.5 prc. the prc gets you approx 10% more muzzle velocity. as noted above, approx another 200yds to stay above 1500ft-lbs of energy. obviously the tradeoff is more recoil and shorter barrel life. but of the 2 i'd pick the 6.5prc just...

    take a dog. i arrowed a nice buck in my yard a while back at last light. lost the blood trail. brought out my golden retriever (never hunted, just a pet) and he found him a couple hundred yards away dead in a creek bed. he had doubled back from his initial direction.

    everyone gets a chance to be a productive member of society, or at least not a violent killer, raper, bank robber etc. if you blow that chance, i don't care if it's life in prison or death sentence, but either way you shouldn't be let back out in society again. don't we have enough crap going...

    HEARTWARMING: 2 year old Michigan girl who got lost in the woods found SAFE by civilian search party volunteer. Sleeping on family dog as pillow.

    that IS heartwarming. at this time of rampant violence and self-indulgence, here we have a horde of folks that gave their time and energy for a really good cause.
