Jeff, potentially a weekend in October would be good to get up by Daves and test a little at distance. I'd like to do some b.c. testing with the new 475gr. Let me know what works for you. Geno, good to hear!

    Most accurate 338 solid projectile?

Badlands 250 or 260 grain solids. I run the 250's and they are awesome. The guys I shoot with that have improved 338's and run the 260's are absolutely insane.

    Nucleus Orders

High 2500's for order number in a short action left hand. No word yet. I wasn't too excited or even gave a shit about when it showed up but now that my new stock is in the mail and I have the barrel laying here I'd like to do some chambering again.. hopefully sooner than later these unicorns...

Reasor Precision Game Changer bag issued US patent

Pissed a lot of people off the way they went about announcing it.. haha. So far Reasor hasn't done that. Good for Clifton on getting the patent on his product before someone else did.

Has anyone reviewed the new Tubb rifle?

In July at KO2M he said he had both left and right hand models in stock.

    Offset scope mount

Ding ding. The mirrors can be had on the internet for cheap, a 3D printed housing could be had for a couple hours of printing time. I have a prism, the simplicity behind it is awesome but the price is a bit steep. A carbon fiber reinforced plastic print would be much lighter and more economical...

    The Jesus Christ’s of LRF's - EuroOptic's Vectronix Sale

Don't ever use one of you don't intend on buying one... I used a friend's vector over 8 years ago, worked my way through a Leica, then an original terrapin, then a Vector. Mine's a vector 4, love it. I had the pleasure of setting up a friend's v21 earlier this month, they are impressive for...

Converting a TRG to 6.5 Addiction - Tikka Swap?

The trg’s Are a M27x1.5 thread on the shank. With a barrel vice and an action wrench you can switch barrel as often as you want. No need to crank them crazy tight.

Interesting take on ELR matches: Mark and Sam

If you can't or don't want to shoot in the wind, stay home. IDK, luck of the draw puts you where you are, deal with it and make the best of it. It's the way she goes. It wasn't the wind that got me this year and I shot late enough on day one.

    Drone to check impact

They are all the same! Absolutely nuts, interesting characters forsure! IDK if it's the thrill of what they do or the mass ammount of chemicals they have been exposed to over the years lol.

    Marking your gear

Gear adrift is a gift! Sharpie the cloth goods. Metal like magazines get the mechanical engraver.

    Affordable tripod?

Another for the PIG tripod. I use mine with a manfroto gear head and the Swaro. spotter. I'll buy a saddle in the coming months, it's an awesome tripod for the $ and very rigid.

Barrel contour, length and rigidity question

My K&P on my 50 finished at 39.5" and shot a 3.75" 5 shot group for score at 1000yds in Raton last summer. A straight taper from just past shoulder down to muzzle is great to get the weight off the end while keeping it rigid where it's needed.
