Ashbury Precision Ordnance Sniper's Hide Edition Rifle

Been doing my research over the past few days, and narrowed my search down to Spurh, Griffin Armament or F3R Machine. While I understand that Spurh is considered top-of-the-line, I was wondering if the Griffin Armament and F3R Machine mounts were good alternatives. Any thoughts or experiences...

Ashbury Precision Ordnance Sniper's Hide Edition Rifle

Hey guys, mine should be coming in soon. What scope rings or scope mount would you recommend for mounting a Vortex Strike Eagle 5- 25x56? Mainly interested in what would be proper ring height. Thanks for the heads-up.

    Thinking about building

I asked the same basic question over a year ago, and got back some good information regarding possible rifle builds. Check New to Precision Rifles

Ashbury Precision Ordnance Sniper's Hide Edition Rifle

The online rifle configuration form allows you to choose the caliber and the chassis color. Outside of that, I think that you need to speak with the Sales staff to order any other bells and whistles that you may desire.

Ashbury Precision Ordnance Sniper's Hide Edition Rifle

Well, now I've gone and done it!! I gave myself an early Christmas present by ordering a Sniper's Hide Special Edition in 308Win today. Now I just have to be patient and keep from chewing my arm off for the next 10 - 12 weeks before it gets here.😵

Ashbury Precision Ordnance Sniper's Hide Edition Rifle

Last year, I asked for advice in starting a precision rifle build (“New to Precision Rifles”) and got some really excellent suggestions from the members…thanks again. But circumstances caused me to put off acquiring some of the pieces and parts. So I kept researching and drooling over some of...

    New to Precision Rifles...

Thanks for all of the inputs. The reason I had chosen the VG6 muzzle brake was an article I had read (https://www.gunmann.com/65-creedmoor-muzzle-brakes/). But I am thinking about the Hellfire as an alternative. I also have looked at Hawkins Precision scope rings instead of the cantilever mount...

    New to Precision Rifles...

In the past few days, after reading numerous articles, watching various YouTube videos and banging my head against the desk (figuratively, not literally), I think I have come up with a list of components for my Precision Rifle build. All of your inputs have helped me tremendously; just too bad...

    New to Precision Rifles...

Thank you for that insight. And BTW, I am also finding that 6.5CM ammo is more readily available than I first believed!🤯 Looks like I may be coming over to the Dark Side!

    New to Precision Rifles...

I was poking around the internet, looking for someone who manufactured barreled actions; I realized that having the action and the barrel paired together by the same company eliminates the need for a 3rd party gunsmith. I came across Straight Jacket Armory and was wondering if anyone has...

    New to Precision Rifles...

Thank you, swage2712. This information is just what I was looking for, and it will help me with my future research. The $1600 price you quoted is the approximate cost that I would like to spend for the action and barrel. And yes, my budget did take glass into account (Vortex Viper PST FFP).

    New to Precision Rifles...

Thanks to everyone who has taken the time to respond to my questions. All of your answers have been very helpful. While I must be the one who ultimately makes the decision regarding this rifle, know that your input at this time has helped lead me to make the choice.👍 I am aware that the 6.5CM...

    New to Precision Rifles...

And I need help making an informed decision. Have been doing a bit of research over the past few months, trying to decide which way to go with my first precision rifle. I have considerable experience with the AR-15/M-16 platform, but now I want to learn techniques for long distance shooting...
