    don't be afraid to use the scar other then the 1165 and 1050 they are all within easy reach, and 175's will get you to the long ones, i have made hits on the 1165 with a 308.

    first off, where in the hell did you find enough to consider a barrel swap?:). my 10/22 cycled fine with them but i don't remember how well they did with the standard twist. run some through it and see how it shoots. you'll never know if you don't try.

    run the numbers on the 220smk, if you don't already have them go with a 215 or 230 berger hybrids. the 220's are to costly for the performance, and the bc is not to impressive for the weight your trying to move. the only 220 i would consider would be the lapua scenar.

    good job for the 400+ guys (and you hi 3's) the way i been shooting i think i'm going to sell my set-up and buy a spotting scope and enjoy making correction calls, seems to be the only thing i can do well lately. thanks again goes to the rayners, and good going tom for a 300+with a 223.

    while impressive, Callaway hit 254 in the late 80's in a corvette with only about 875 or so hp. he drove the car from ct to Columbus oh to the test track went 254 and drove it back to his shop. and it was done with old turbo technology (buy todays standards) with a sb 383.

    don't waste your money on a shooting chrony (or any of the other ir types) save up for a magneto speed. have all the amax you tried been from the same lot? there has been a couple instances with bad lots. i haven't seen a 300wm that wouldn't shoot a 208 and 76 gr of h1000,not saying yours will...
