New Contest Starting Now! This Target Haunts Me
Tell us about the one that got away, the flier that ruined your group, the zero that drifted, the shot you still see when you close your eyes. Winner will receive a free scope!
Preferably un-modified; I am looking to purchase a 2nd or 3rd generation RPR chambered in 308. Please PM details on condition, round count, pics, and pricing.
Thanks!
Is it relevant to say, that the 30-06 is a veteran through & through... the only US "RIFLE" cartridge that has helped to win not 1 but 2 World Wars. There is not another American made cartridge today that can boast those credentials... not even the venerable 308 Win!
I expect similar results; I put mine in a Bravo chassis for a semi-budget build, before dropping her off at the gunsmith to have the action trued, bolt lapped, and to have a relief cut at the shoulder of the muzzle threads, so my brake will seat.
I am building one of the Eurooptic barreled actions from Remington. I paid $499 for the 6.5CM, with 22" barrel. I have a Bravo on order, as well, I found a Timney 510 trigger... not the newer trigger, but the original. Anarchy Outdoors had the trigger for $115 shipped.
I found a nice bolt lift option on ebay; like the KRG bolt lift, this is a clamshell design, made from aluminum, which resembles the Badger design. here is the link...
I have a 308 RPR, Gen2 w/ keymod handgaurd. Roughly 400+ rounds. If you have not found what you are looking for PM me. The rifle is in like new condition.
Just an FYI the SWFA Tax Day 2018 Sale has started!

I picked up the 3-15X42 FFP Mil-Quad scope & accessories...
I just picked up two 40X rifles, both U.S. marked. One is the older variant built around the 722 action, and the other is built around the 700 action. Both come with full set of Redfield sights, Olympic for the older 722 based rifle, and International Match for the 700 based rifle. I paid...
Someone else sent me a PM (not from here) and offered up their Kimber 82G at a much lower price than the one pictured above... So now I will be getting the 40X pictured above, and this new Kimber offering. Good thing I will be broke for a while, so it is a good thing I bought ammo first.
These rifles would be an internet purchase, so I do not know how they shoot or even what ammo they would like. But I have owned similar models of these rifles in the past, so I have a good idea on the characteristics of each.
What really strikes me about the Kimber is the beautiful stock, and...
