    So... that "zipper" sound that the bolt makes when cycling. Is it worth honing the action to reduce the noise, or just let natural cycling of the bolt smooth the ridges left by the machining process?

    I had to buy another product regardless. The only benefit to getting the AC type mag from Magpul, is I would get another magazine. But I decided I did not need another magazine. The Bob Sled serviced my needs at or about the cost of another magazine.

    Thanks TD. In creating a shopping list for the up-coming SWFA Tax-Day sale, I wanted to make sure I got a set of rings in case the low rings I currently have did not work. I may pick up a medium set anyway, if for no other reason than comfort.

    I tried everything I could think of to get that stock release to... well, release, and the small mallet style hammer was the only thing to do just that. The hammer is a molded plastic hammer, so no marring. It still sticks, but I can now use my thumb as intended by the owners manual. Unless...

    I got the busted grey styro foam instead of the crush resistant black foam... First impression; my thumb is sore as shit! That stock release button took a small hammer to get released! The release is still very tight, but will work out with time. Hell, I even manage to over rotate the bolt...
