New Contest Starting Now! This Target Haunts Me
Tell us about the one that got away, the flier that ruined your group, the zero that drifted, the shot you still see when you close your eyes. Winner will receive a free scope!
Oops. Again read the info about a Single Shot trust on Silencer Shop. It says that this is something offered only by the Silencer Shop, which quite probably means it's used only for items purchased from the Silencer Shop; I could not use this for a Form 1 build.
Bother!
Richard
So it's relatively simple to add and remove trustees from any (or a Single Shot only?) trust.
What is difficult then seems to be adding an item to an existing trust. Each trustee must provide fingerprint cards, photos, etc. Is this correct or am I one-eighty out at 30 knots?
If the above is...
Thank you. That sounds like the way to go. I think I would prefer to have a trust (I'm assuming I can have more than one) at the start rather than moving items into a trust later. It cost me another $200 per NFA item to move my toys into the trust. Ouch.
Cheers, Richard
Thank you all for the information.
My trust pre-dates the implementation of 41F, so I'm the only family member in the fed system. I would prefer to keep them out, in addition to avoiding all the documents I'd have to obtain each time I made/bought an NFA item. (Think in terms of herding cats.)...
Okay, I've searched the web, I've checked the ATF site, and I'm still partially confused. If anyone here has actually had an existing firearms trust and then bought/made a suppressor, I'd like very much to hear how you handled it.
I currently have a trust with family members, who are scattered...
I'm looking for the same bullets you are. I have the following 6.5mm bullets that I can sell or trade. Note that Moly indicates the bullets are moly-coated, but could be from factory or done by me. Bullets tagged as Midway have an unknown original manufacturer.
100 140gr BT-Thick Target...
The Contract has a number of interesting points. For one thing, it states that ammunition may only be sent to an FFL.
Much as I would love getting rid of PP, I think I'll wait and see how this system works.
I have some of the same that I have not tried in my Garand since they have corrosive primers and, after some 80 years of unknown storage, probably deteriorated powder. I'll probably pull the bullets and reload them.
If you decide to sell individual boxes, I would be interested in the:
- One open box (sealed bag of 100) .308 100gn SJ hornady varmint bullets.
Thank you, Richard
I have pistol powders available for $25/lb FTF in Laramie. Alliant Blue Dot (It's working well in 9mm. Also suggested for .357 and .44Mag.), H-110, W296, WC820 (original H-110). There may be another one or two I'm forgetting. Feel free to ask.
Cheers, Richard
