New Contest Starting Now! This Target Haunts Me
Tell us about the one that got away, the flier that ruined your group, the zero that drifted, the shot you still see when you close your eyes. Winner will receive a free scope!
I used a straight razor to trim around my beard when I was in the Navy. Mentioned it to my dad. He asked me if I changed hands for the other side.
(Think this through dad. I'm still alive. Of course I didn't change hands!)
Her husband introduced us up in Alaska. When I learned she was getting a divorce, I waited a suitable length of time (3 or 4 microseconds) before asking her to marry me. That was 36 years ago.
My father was a combat vet of WWII and Korea (artillery). He only told "funny" stories about what had happened to him, even when I was active duty. Then I found and read his diary of Okinawa.
Later I was told a couple of stories that my cousin knew.
If Dad didn't have PTSD (and he might have)...
When I spotted this pair from the living room, they were maybe 40 yards away. By the time I had raced to grab my camera, change to the telephoto, etc. they had wandered further afield. Naturally, I haven't seen them since.
It got a little pricey when I did mine, since the feds wanted yet another $200 for each item moved from my name into the trust. But I feel better knowing that when I croak my family won't be under a short fuse to dispose/sell the toys.
Let me add that I know the ChargeMaster 1500 is not the most accurate scale on the planet (RCBS says it's accurate to +/- 0.1 gr, the same as my tweaked 10-10 scale). For instance, I have read that G. David Tubb weighs his loads to the granule.
A few personal points:
- I am not by any stretch...
