    Confused with my dope today

If yardage is known to be correct ( by you and multiple readings from laser plus other people's dope lines up correctly), AND you've checked torque on all scope mount screws and bolts, that leaves 2 answers: You did something drastically different in your fundamentals/shooting technique Your...

    What barrel for Curtis Vector

Try Area 419 or Keystone. I'm sure timing will be much better than 4-6 months. I've gotten three barrels in the last 3 months from Area 419 (in less than 30 days. All three shoot .2-.4s for consecutive 5 shots groups and I've scoped them inside and machining is ultra-clean.

    SOLD

I haven't looked through a 5-25 in a while, but compared to my 7-35 ATACR, the K525i shows a bit more color, detail and resolution. Parallax forgiveness is about a tie, turrets very clean (I like the ATACR slightly more but only because I've grown accustomed to the feel). The field of view...

    224 Valkyrie Bolt Gun Testing/Review

I think @padom is on the right track. For 22 Cal's, the 224V and 220TB are the perfect set of options. Need factory ammo? Get a 224V with factory reamer. Handload and Need a bit more punch without a barrel every 1200 rounds (i.e. 22 Creed )? Get a 220TB. For PRS shooters, the speed limit...

    AB Desktop vs Kestrel only

If you are referring to AB Analytics, other than the WEZ tool and ability to play with possible cartridges and export to excel, the 5700 Elite is definitely the way to go for practical shooting. Fast, simple and insanely accurate. Probably not worth the investment in a Windows tablet just to...

    PRIME AMMO INSTOCK

Send it to Prime along with a letter explaining where you bought it, how you thought it was really legitimate and then found out otherwise. Mainly as a favor/courtesy so they have physical proof for any future litigation. Either way, I'd return it to TSUSA less 10% or send to Prime and they...

    Rifle Scopes Burris XTR3!!!

Damn! That is sooooo close to what I want! It looks like it has some serious volume and strong. The poly back is a cool idea for sure! I'm going to put that on the short list for possible fall buys. Super slick!

Rifle Scopes If matches are mostly shot using 15x or so why have a 27x scope?

Not really working on it... Just shooting it. ? It's shooting .5 -.8 and that's plenty good. 88s at 2750.

Rifle Scopes If matches are mostly shot using 15x or so why have a 27x scope?

If you want a one piece mount, I've got a Leupold Mark 8 34mm mount ($350-400 new) I'm selling for $200.

    1 Mile - Sub MOA - 4 hits under 1 min 30 sec

We had a 1 mile challenge after the Big Dog steel PRS 2-day match in April. 5 rounds at a Sasquatch shaped target. My buddy ended up winning with his 6.5 PRC by sending first round, watching splash and then sending 4 rounds in less than 7 seconds immediately afterwards. 4 hits out of 5...

Rifle Scopes If matches are mostly shot using 15x or so why have a 27x scope?

Updated list. But in practice, it doesn't seem to hurt too much. Most scopes are going to be about 60-68mm at the front objective. We shot out of 3" tall slits at our match this weekend and half of the objective was "obscured" by wood. Didn't matter though because target was fully visible...
