Lap Rings for .22 Squirrel Rifle?
In the past Remington, Winchester, Savage, etc. receivers and the available bases (two piece) you "could" have some mis-alignment. Lapping would take care of the difference in height, and if front or rear base was tipped forward or backward. Recently dug this out of the safe, Winchester Pre-64...- Criver600

The whole box at 100 yards
Anytime you're shooting off a bipod with rubber feet you will have some unexplained vertical. Bipod bounce. If your serious about testing ammo get a decent benchrest top and rear bag- Criver600

34mm scope an AR rimfire?
Mega Machine made these. You should be able to get as far forward as you need. Or have someone that knows how to shoot look at your position. The son in-laws and I shot 400 yards with 22's last weekend 22-24 mils with 3 different rifles and ammunition.- Criver600

243 vs 6mm Dasher trying to understand....
6mm Dashers dominate 600 yard benchrest. I've got a 1" group at 600 yards hanging on the wall. Under 2" no big deal. You're not performing at that level with junk. You need be able to load ammunition capable of winning a match. Much better barrel life, lower recoil etc. I've shot 243/243...- Criver600

Neck/chamber clearance
It has to be brass fired in the subject rifle. One or two pieces of fired brass, see if you can slip a bullet in the unsized case.- Criver600
