    AI AT Accuracy Problems

    First groups look like some bi-pod bounce, try preloading your bipod. As far as factory ammo Lapua 167 Scenar #4317515, with a good barrel will shoot one hole groups. Federal Gold Medal match Sierra 168 or 175's Match Kings can be good. BlackHills ammo with 168 or 175 Match Kings can be decent.

    Both action screws and epoxy bonding were meant to be a failsafe method one backing the other. The epoxy was Magic 2 part grey. I took my Accuracy International Armourers course at the original AI factory from Neal Braisher. Blue loctite and proper torque will take care of your AT-X

    Rimfire barrel cleaning

    Bore guide, Coated Dewey cleaning rod, 3 wet patches (Butches bore shine) quality all brass brush, 5 strokes out the muzzle and back, 3 wet patches, 2 dry its clean. I use a bore scope to verify. Clean every case. 10 shots and I'm back in the groove. Its not that complicated.

    Anschutz 1727F Match-AT-X, RimX-AT-X, RimX McMillan M40A1, Winchester 52C Annie is the "new" rifle, RimX's Bartlien Barrels spun up by TS Customs and the Winchester 52. Right now the Anschutz is the new fascination. Son in-law shoots a Vudoo in a AT-X. I practice with and shoot all 4 in NRL22...

    My early action serial # is under 200, the new one is 2700 something. No difference at all. Surgeon bottom metal in the McMillan, and Accuracy International Magwell in the AT-X. My TS Customs pre-fits are perfect with either action.

    MilC is my favorite. I also have one MilXT, it takes me a split second longer to engage a target with the MilXT. I have three NRL/PRS 22's I practice with all three. 2 have MilC reticles one has the MilXT. I'm very comfortable with both.

    Coal Tipple? All the good regional shooters end up shooting a match or two there. Some very talented locals. As long as your rifle is reliable and decently accurate, shoot what you have for a year. Then decide which way to go. Its a fun game
