    Ahhhh, modify receiver and modify magazine. I’ll probably just work on making better magazines for the Howa Mini, not willing to sacrifice AICS mags to feed Howa mini action rifle.

    Did a +2” on a 20”, 223 and it was really nice for running 77s. Definitely go +2” for 224 as you be running as much, or more, of same, or slower, burn rate powder if wanting to shoot the heavier / heaviest bullets.

    165 SGK will most likely shoot very similarly (accuracy wise, powder charge wise, BC, etc.) to the 168 SMK but you'll have a hunting bullet. SMK is going to be roll of dice on performance but for deer and hog, probably going to kill animal just fine provided you put bullet where it needs to go.

    I don't believe an AI, Accurate or MDT AICS type magazine is going to be appreciably wider than a MagPul AICS type magazine. Much more movement in that XRS chassis than I see with AI or Accurate magazine in my MDT LSS XL chassis, I do not have a MagPul AICS type magazine to compare against.
